Updated 21.12.2020 Despite the fact that London has now entered Tier 4 restrictions, moving home remains unaffected, providing safety guidelines are followed.This is good news for buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords alike, especially currently, where demand for properties in London is unprecedented. Advice from the Government clearly states that moving home is still allowed in the highest local COVID alert level of ‘Stay at Home’ (or ‘Tier 4’). The information, published on the Gov.uk website states: “You can still move home. People outside your household or support bubble should not help with moving house unless absolutely necessary. “Estate and letting agents and removals firms can continue to work. If you are looking to move, you can go to property viewings.” And as has been the case since moving home was allowed again a number of months ago, they go on to say: “Follow the national guidance on moving home safely, which includes advice on social distancing and wearing a face covering.” If you have any further questions around this, then please contact us. "Totally worth the commission! Before I went through the whole process I was resentful at the thought of having to pay a 10% commission on a Let. But after having tried to rent my flat with a large local estate agent one year, and with purple bricks another year, I now get it. Saks London were superb in getting the offer and not only that but keeping constant pressure on so that the Let went through, going above and beyond with things like printing out forms and personally taking them round to complete and cutting additional sets of keys. I would say the earned every cent of that commission. Very happy customer.
